I am travelling to Mexico in June and would like to hire a car in Tijuana and travel down the Baja peninsula, dropping the car off in Cabo San Lucas (or thereabouts) before catching the ferry across to mainland Mexico.The only quotes I can find online include a drop-off fee (for returning the car to a different depot to the one at which I picked it up) of about $600–basically doubling the cost of car hire. Is there any way around this?

Our family is going on a cruise in December. Everyone is over 21 but we don’t drink – Carnival Glory.
One of our ports is Bleize City, Belize. Does anyone know of what we should do there? We have looked over the shore excursions and thought possible snorkeling or the zoo and city tour. Is there something that would be more fun? I can’t seem to find a lot of info about the area. I heard from someone that it was a little dangerous there but I find that hard to belive seeing as how a cruise ship is going there.
