I have dug up and potted some small mulberry bushes that I am going to transplant in the spring. Since the temperature gets below freezing several times during the winter, would it be better to keep them inside to prevent freezing the roots, or should they be outdoors to get some sun?
I don’t understand why some parts of the country call them weeds. What I have are small bushes now, but they grow into trees that are approximately 15′ tall. Are we talking about the same type of mulberry, or is there more than one variety?
