i’m looking for a nice sand beach in Brettany (Bretagne) in France for short holidays but haven’t found one with train access.

The city is beautiful.
So is the beach.

It is only 3 hours from Paris by train:
And the neighborhood is rich too:
- Dinard (another beach across the river)
- Dinan (a medieval city)
- Cancale (a paradise for oysters and seafood lovers)

The city of Lannion (in north of Brittany) is accessible by fast train TGV (no train change when you come from Paris).
From there (about 15 km), the cities of Perros Guirrec, Ploumanac’h and Tregastel (coast named in french “Côte de granit rose”) are very nice.
You will find sand beach in the city of Tregastel.

It will be cheaper than St Malo, which is a great place too (it’s also not accessible directly by TGV).
You can go to the city Vannes (in the south of Brittany), accessible by TGV too.
There are a lot of places near it, but it is more crowed and more expensive.
And just for your information, the water is much hotter in the south !!
