Stag party drinking games Dec 25

Sometimes, resources just don’t add up and as the stag party organizer, you may lack ideas to make the party as interesting as you would have loved it to be. Don’t panic. You can still use available resources and manage to protect your credibility. No matter how terrible a stag party is, there is one thing it is bound to never lack, alcohol. Stag parties are typically characterized by copious amounts of alcohol flowing endlessly and being consumed at a very fast rate. You see, excessive consumption of alcohol is linked to the free spirit of single life therefore it is inevitable that the stag will want to indulge one last time before he ties the knot. Furthermore, beer drinking brings men together. You can therefore make the stag party more interesting by playing some stag party Ireland drinking games.

You can choose to come up with your own games or you can search for ideas online. Here are a few examples of stag party drinking games. The anchor man is a game where the stag group separates in two teams and competes to see which team will throw all their team’s coins into the opposite team’s pitcher. The losing team then has to drink everything from their pitcher. Also, the winning team gets to choose an anchorman (usually the poor groom) whose role is to finish all remaining contents from the pitcher so the losing team decides how much beer to leave for him.

There is another game which involves shuffling some cards then picking one after another and guessing if the next one will be higher or lower. If one gets it wrong, you know what to do.

You can also have games directed specifically at the groom. These include having the groom take a shot each time he meets a woman whose has a similar name as his fiancée.

Drinking games are usually a good ice breaker for any strangers within the group. You do not have to be all crazy in these games, though more often than not, it is this craziness that people look for.  Remember, you can create your own drinking games. Just come up with a few rules and when anyone in the group breaks these rules, their fine is taking a shot. One word of caution though, take care not to get the groom too drunk that he can barely stand up straight on his wedding.

Hosting a Stag Party 101 Dec 19

It is not always possible to hold a stag party in an exotic location. You may not have the time to travel to this location and back, you may be operating on a limited budget or you simply prefer not to travel. It is also possible that the women in your lives may have forbidden you from traveling to the location of your choice even though most of you will pretend that it was actually your idea not to travel. Whether accidental or by design, it is possible for you as the stag organizer, to host the stag party.

Hosting a stag party is really not as difficult as it may appear so long as you have innovative stag party ideas. All you need is a group of friends, a theme optional, a venue, alcohol, games, music, food and refreshments. Make a list of invites and please ensure that they are people who get along well with the groom to avoid any awkward moments. After getting confirmations of attendance, you can then set about deciding the venue of the stag party. If you do not mind cleaning up the mess that your guests will inevitably create, you can host the stag party in your house; but if you do mind then consider hiring a hall for the event. Keep in mind that it is quite expensive to hire a hall therefore you will need sufficient funding from all participants. Also, you may need to book the hall in advance to avoid any disappointments at the end of the day.

Though not necessary, you can choose to have a themed stag party. Themes always add fun to the party and are a great ice breaker for guests who do not know each other. Themes will also help you to come with costumes for the event. The more hilarious the better so get the group together as early as possible to come up with the theme that will humiliate the groom the most. Keep in mind though that you will hit the night clubs later on so choose a theme that is more likely to amuse than offend.

Food and drinks are an integral part of a stag party celebration or any other event which brings men together. In fact, you can have a food themed stag party where you all dress up as something edible. The quantity of food that you will order will depend on the number of people who will attend the stag party.  Make sure that the food you order is well prepared and matches the theme of the event. If you do not want to order food you can take your stag supper to a restaurant. If you do so, check with management first to see if they will admit any men clad in nothing but loin cloths.
