This is a question not easily answered, because of the sheer size of this country. Nevertheless, let me try and give you three destinations that I consider to be top of the pile in my book. The state of Texas is worth a visit by itself, but if you need to pick a place to visit specifically, then San Antonio is your best bet. You can seriously do some proper things in this city. One the one hand there’s the great restaurants with some of the best fine dining you can imagine, then there’s the golf courses, the beautiful river walks and naturally the rich history. Feel the underlying Spanish heritage and start your trip with the Alamo.

If neither of these two is really up your street, why not consider a trip to Florida. I’m particularly talking about a Key West vacation package. This is a very well known destination and is the southernost city in America and form part of the known Florida Keys. This is the place where you can enjoy the delights of the type of activities that you only find on an island type of holiday and also benefit from the great local food sorts. The best has got to be the seafood. There are really so many things to be doing here. A favourit is to go wreck diving, whilst many other people go fishing or simply do some inland sightseeing. Many folks agree that this is the kind of place that you just want to relax, unwind and kick back for a few days.

The list of these names is not really the type of names that you will find usually on a list like this. This is the kind of America that you will experience that most people actually don’t. It’s the opportunity to mix with the local people and get to see what thecountry is really about. This is the United States that is real and true in its essence.
